The Nano-fs laboratory at the South Dakota School of Mines is an ultrafast laser spectroscopy facility focused on nanophotonics research utilizing spectroscopic imaging methods.


Research Foci

Energy and time-resolved spectroscopic imaging with nanometer spatial resolution, applied to the study of nano-materials relevant to the development of alternative energy sources and other applications of nanotechnology, including: nanotechnology for improved solar cells, biofuels, and nano-electronics.
